We had stated that the landscaping at the entrances would be cleaned and upgraded at the end of June. Since we have been in near drought conditions, we have put off this project until late Summer/early Fall.

Will this issue be addressed come Spring? I was also curious if lighting at the entrances (spot lighting on the signs) was in the plans?

I know many home owners have been concerned over the state of the landscaping and Oak Tree situations. Please let it be known that this issue has been at the fore front of the Boards minds.

Entrance Landscaping is planned for a overhaul by March 01st, weather conditions permitting.

The Oak Tree situation is difficult as the developers used very poor judgement in the placement of the trees. Because they are so close to the fence lines, most could not be adequately straightened after Hurricane Ike. Action that will be taken within the next 30-40 days will be to starighten some Oak Trees than can be, move others to adequate locations, and finally to dispose of the few that cannot be salvaged. Also, we will add additional less intrusive trees to the fenceline like perhaps the Mulberry trees that are in section II. The board has had numerous discussions on this subject trying to minimize the impact on the budget. Please have a little more patience with us and we will resolve these matters soon.
